Will your US Airwrap work in Europe?
No. Dyson support says a US-purchased Airwrap will not switch on in Europe. Europe runs on 220–240V; a US Airwrap is built for 100–127V. An adapter changes the plug, not the voltage.

Every hair tool has a small label near the cord or on the handle. It tells you whether the tool can take European voltage.
“100–127V” or “120V”
US-only. It will not switch on in Europe, and a plug adapter won't change that. This is every US Airwrap.
“100–240V”
Dual-voltage. It can run in Europe with the right plug adapter. Follow the tool's instructions, including any manual voltage switch.
“220–240V”
European voltage. This is what our rental Airwraps are, with an EU or UK plug already fitted.

The questions behind the adapter.
Will a plug adapter make my US Airwrap work?
No. An adapter only changes the shape of the plug. A US Airwrap is built for 100–127V, and European outlets supply 220–240V. Dyson support says a US-purchased Airwrap will not switch on in Europe and advises against adapters and converters.
What about a voltage converter?
Dyson advises against adapters and converters for the Airwrap, so we don't recommend one. The rental is the simple route: a 220–240V Airwrap with the right plug, delivered before you fly.
Does my curling iron have the same problem?
Check its label. A tool marked 100–240V is dual-voltage and usually needs only a plug adapter; follow its instructions, including any manual voltage switch. A tool marked 120V only has the same problem as a US Airwrap.

Which plug will I receive?
An EU plug for continental Europe, or a UK plug for the UK and Ireland. Pick your destination when you reserve. Visiting both? Email us before you book.
Can I cancel?
Yes, free, any time before your kit ships. After it ships the rental can't be cancelled, because the kit has been sanitized, packed and reserved for your dates.
