EuroWrap Rental LLC
Effective date: 07/07/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how EuroWrap Rental LLC ("EuroWrap," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit eurowraprental.com (the "Site"), rent equipment from us, or otherwise interact with our business. EuroWrap Rental LLC is a limited liability company organized in Vermont, United States.
By using the Site or renting from us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
We rent voltage-compatible hair-styling equipment (such as EU/UK-voltage Dyson Airwrap kits) to customers, primarily U.S. residents traveling abroad. Our store runs on the Shopify platform, and we rely on a small number of third-party service providers to process payments, ship equipment, and market our services.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide to us
When you place a rental order, contact us, or sign up for marketing, we may collect:
- Identity and contact details — your name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
- Order and rental details — the items you rent, rental dates, delivery and return addresses, and any add-ons (such as additional attachments or the optional damage waiver).
- Payment information — your payment card or other payment details. This is collected and processed by our payment processors (see Section 4); we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
- Communications — messages you send us by email, through the Site, or over social media, and any information you choose to include in them.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including:
- Device and browser information (such as IP address, browser type, and operating system).
- Usage information (such as pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits).
- Information collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
Information we receive from third parties
We may receive information about you from:
- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders.
- Payment processors, which confirm transactions and authorization holds.
- Shipping carriers, which provide tracking and delivery information.
- Advertising and analytics partners (for example, TikTok), which may share aggregated or event-based information about how you interact with our ads and Site.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process, fulfill, ship, and manage your rentals and returns.
- Process payments, authorization holds, and any applicable late, replacement, or damage-related charges.
- Communicate with you about your orders, including confirmations, shipping updates, and return reminders.
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- Send marketing communications where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law (see Section 7).
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our services.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, loss, damage, and other harmful or unauthorized activity.
- Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service, Rental Agreement, and other policies.
4. Payments and card authorizations
Payments on the Site are processed by Shopify Payments and related payment providers. Rental holds and replacement charges are managed through Downpay and Shopify's tools.
As part of a rental, we may place a temporary authorization hold on your payment card. This hold does not immediately charge you; it reserves the ability to charge a replacement or other applicable fee if a unit is not returned, or is returned damaged, in the circumstances described in your Rental Agreement. Authorization holds expire automatically according to the terms disclosed at checkout.
Your payment card information is handled by our payment processors under their own terms and privacy practices. We receive limited transaction information (such as confirmation of payment and the last digits and card type) but do not receive or store your full card number.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf — including Shopify (store and order hosting), payment processors, Downpay, shipping carriers, email and SMS providers, and analytics and advertising partners — solely so they can perform those services.
- Advertising partners. We may share limited information with platforms such as TikTok to measure and improve our advertising. You can limit some of this sharing through your device and platform settings (see Section 6).
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information where we believe it is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our agreements and policies; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EuroWrap, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and support marketing. This may include analytics tools and advertising pixels (such as the TikTok pixel).
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of certain interest-based advertising through your device settings or industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org). Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site functions.
7. Marketing communications
If you opt in, we may send you marketing emails [and text messages] about promotions, new offerings, and travel-related content. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails [or by replying STOP to a text message]. Even if you opt out of marketing, we will still send you non-promotional messages related to your rentals, such as order confirmations and return reminders.
8. Data retention
We keep your personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — including completing your rentals, resolving disputes, and meeting our legal, tax, and accounting obligations — and then delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.
9. Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, and we rely on established providers such as Shopify and our payment processors, which maintain their own security safeguards. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of it, and the right to opt out of certain uses.
California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
11. Children's privacy
The Site and our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and post the updated Policy on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
